Meena Arvind

Meena has always loved stories, words, colors, and poetry. She loves to research and has a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Summer rains, fall colors, the smell of hot chocolate, branding, bookstores, children, and cartoons are some of her favorite things. One day she hopes to travel the world and write a book about it.

While not working, she loves to be with her family and lives in the Greater Chicago area. The Girl and the Butterfly is her first book.

IIIustrator - Caroline Hanlon

Meena also wants to introduce her illustrator, Caroline Hanlon. She has both her BFA and MA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. Caroline is a happy, fun, and spirited artist who loves to brighten up lives with her colors, sketches, and smiles. She also owns a cat and loves to walk.
